DISCOVER Lab has received an NSERC Engage research grant in "Game-Aware Resource Allocation in Home Gateways" to work with Ubique Networks and develop an application-aware network mechanism which uses real-time optimization techniques to maximize a players’ Quality of Experience and fairly allocates network resources based on current network context.
