Master's student Alejandra Ornelas Barajas has won 1st place in the Computer Science category of the Faculty of Engineering's Graduate poster competition with her work “A Serious Game for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder as a Tool for Play Therapy”, beating out both her peers and PhD candidates. Excellent job, Alejandra, and congratulations!

DISCOVER Lab has received an NSERC Engage Plus research grant, "Multiuser Fair Resource Allocation in Home Gateways Targeting Cloud Gaming" to work with Ubique Networks and develop a system that supports multiple users running several applications at home sharing a single home gateway, taking into account prioritization in resource allocation at both the user level and flow level, with real-time re-optimization.
